Early Years Worker – Part Time (up to 10 hours over 2 - 3 days)

Hourly Rate: £12.08

We’re looking for a dedicated caring professional with experience of working with babies and young children to help run our sessions.

If you’re passionate about being part of a high-quality, stimulating learning environment we want to hear from you.

You’ll be a creative team player, able to implement new ideas and use a range of strategies to continually improve how the sessions are run and to support the early years session leader.

Alongside the sessions, you’ll be comfortable working directly with parents and carers to support our children’s educational and social development, ensuring their welfare within a safe, reassuring and happy environment by providing a high level of family support.

This includes regularly contributing to child development discussions with other early years staff and professionals, both at First Step and at external meetings.


Early Session Leader– Part-Time (up to 11.2 hours over 2 - 3 days)

Hourly Rate: £13.31

We’re looking for a dedicated, caring and experienced childcare professional to lead the day-to-day running of our Family Sessions.

If you’re passionate about creating a high-quality, stimulating learning environment for our children and imparting your knowledge to others we want to hear from you.

Someone who can take responsibility and lead a high-quality, stimulating learning environment for our children while supervising and developing the knowledge and skills of the team.

You’ll be a creative and reflective team player, able to implement new ideas and use a range of strategies to continually improve best practice, in conjunction with the Early Years Leader.

Alongside leading sessions, you’ll be comfortable working directly with parents and carers to support our children’s educational and social development, ensuring their welfare within a safe, reassuring and happy environment by providing a high level of family support.
