Babies at First Step

Babies are welcomed at First Step family sessions, with their parents or carers. When First Step first began in 1988 it was in answer to the requests of parents who had babies with special needs. They felt they would like somewhere to meet other parents and carers who were experiencing similar feelings and concerns and someone else who would appreciate the small steps and achievements of their baby. There are staff on hand to talk with and who will care for your baby, if you wish to have a short break, cup of tea and a chat with other parents.
